I wish the developers well and hope they continue keeping the price within a realistic realm. ItвЂ™s fantastic, especially given the price. To say the least, IвЂ™m actually giddy about this software. IвЂ™ve limited my post processing to Lightroom which in itself is a very good program, but Affinity Photo opens ups a whole new world. Affinity Photo has brought everything back into perspective. Since theyвЂ™ve decided to go to the cloud on a paid subscription, ItвЂ™s even worse for people like myself, a hobbyists. IвЂ™ve mostly used Lightroom and Photoshop was priced out of my reach. I have a XP-Pen Star G640 drawing tablet and Affinity Photo.

Every few years a person can upgrade to a new camera that betters top of the line consumer cameras of a few years earlier for a modest price. ItвЂ™s become more fun and very interesting. ItвЂ™s also about making macro buttons for tasks that are usually a five step process in alternative programs. The Persona tools, is SerifвЂ™s way of categorizing common tasks into workflows that simplify the creative process by eliminating the need for excessive right-clicks and menu digging. And I tip my hat to the Affinity Team, in Photo they take the Persona Workflow even further. Just when I thought Designer had all the tools a visual designer would ever need, IвЂ™m proven wrong. Built-in Histogram with comprehensive level adjusting tools? Check and Check.

There is just about every type of creative and technical tool for photo editing that you could think of, and some innovative ones that Serif came up with that no one has until now.

It does just what its name implies, and itвЂ™s a program that I anticipate amateur and pro Photographers alike having alot of Affinity for. Serif is pairing off itвЂ™s Graphic Illustration software Affinity Designer, with itвЂ™s photo perfecting, image tweaking counterpart Affinity Photo.
